We are not the only company doing image, video and text processing. Google and Microsoft for instance are developing general image vision APIs.
But we are different in that we specialize in Content Moderation. Understanding what meaning and emotions an image or video conveys (by being suggestive, violent or offensive for instance) are tasks that are very different from traditional scene classification or object detection.
We have thus developed a proprietary and an all-automated API covering all types of user-generated content: photos, videos, texts, usernames.
By working with us, you avoid the hassle of having to handle multiple moderation providers.
To efficiently moderate content, you need to be able to detect any objectionable content. Not only nudity, weapons, alcohol or drugs, but also scammers, offensive symbols and gestures, etc.
We have worked with large players in various industries to enlarge our offerings over the last few years and make sure we can flag most of the types of content our users need to catch.
We currently have a very complete solution proposing more than 45 Moderation Categories for images / videos moderation, going from basic / classic ones to more unusual ones.
See our Model Reference for details on what each model can help you detect.
There is no one-size-fits-all solution for moderation. Different communities have different expectations. Different brands have different needs.
This is why our moderation results are detailed and fine-grained. You get a full description of the detected content so you can implement your own custom logic. Choose exactly what gets accepted and what gets refused. Want to reject lingerie but accept bikinis? Want to reject guns but accept knives? Easy.
See our product page on Nudity Detection or the one on Weapon Detection for an illustration of all the concepts we can help you detect.
When you handle user-generated content, you need to be extra careful. We have an up-to-date Data Processing Addendum available to all customers under the GDPR, and have worked to roll-out a host of options to help our customers comply with all privacy regulations:
For more details, please see our Privacy Policy.
That said, we still have a Feedback API for users who wish to share their target classifications. This helps us improve our moderation tools.
Each project is unique. Different customers have different needs and expectations. That is why we like to work hand-in-hand with our customers to help them get the most out of our technology and services.
